At the time was planning to go to a songwriter’s event but didn’t receive confirmation it was going to happen, but thanks to the magic of Instagram, got a notification Lynagh was performing with her band at Famous on the main stage, so, consider this a really good “Plan B”. The first time I heard her play this was the first time I saw her acoustic set. As part of of our conversation after the set, since I grew up in the generation of “hair metal” that there was one song by one group I was not particularly fond of. Had to give her a toast for “Freezing Hell Over” for singing a version I actually enjoyed listening to. With that in mind, this is Lynagh and her band performing Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.
