Sunshine posted he was going to be part of another songwriter’s performance event and since he wasn’t going on stage until 10:00PM it didn’t conflict with my work schedule (that is another story) but we had a few minutes to sit and talk before he went on stage. Apparently he has a problem because I know he has some new material he is trying to get released but apparently instead of just putting it on iTunes or Spotify he is trying to go a more traditional radio route. Told me the “Radio Guy” is apparently ghosting him now. Mentioned the concern I was having regarding posting original material and as we talked I asked if he was okay with me recording him and posting the material here and he was cool with it so you all have that to look forward to. The other thing that kind of falls under the “It’s A Small World” category is the other people on stage with him. The two women are the duet Reckless Bound who I had not heard of before but the other guy on stage is Josh Hughett. I knew I had seen him before but couldn’t remember where. He performed a song that before he started he said he co-wrote with Leah. Then I remembered he briefly sat across the table from me at Loser’s the first time I recorded Lynagh and Leah on stage together. As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
