This has been a long time in coming, and if I hadn’t covered it before, there is a funny story behind it. Didn’t really know Dustin until he was on tour with Jillian and Sunshine so became friends with him on Facebook and Instagram and we started messaging each other because since I thought he was Jillian’s bass player because this was around the time Sunhine started getting some visibility. That was why I started doing what I did regarding the new single release and so on. Turns out after they got back and I paid attention to the bass player I was incorrect. We actually met in person one night at Loser’s during Lynagh’s set and had a laugh about it. Since then it was a logistical issue because either he was performing when I wasn’t in the area, or a couple of times he was performing but at the same time as someone else. Everything finally lined up and caught him at The Whiskey Shot after Lynagh’s set. Grabbed several clips so you will be getting some footage. He’s mentioned the guy on stage’s first name is Sam but I didn’t pick up his last name. As his @Locals debut, I present Dustin Kines performing Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.
