I had stated and shown before Leah Crose has recently been working on the second floor of Dierks Bentley’s from 3:30-7:00 on Friday. Had not filmed anything from there because either the place was dead which I don’t like filming things when the songs before I would possibly start filming the only person applauding was me or too crowded which then you end up with people continuously walking back and forth in front of the camera and depending on the height of the chair I end up having to push the camera up so high I have issues looking at the screen to see if everyone is still in the shot for example. Other issue is the pole that is in the middle of the floor which cuts the visual. Earlier Friday Leah sent out a message that instead she was going to be on the main stage of The Valentine from 6:00-10:00. Decided to check it out since I had never been there at that date and time. It must be a location issue because at Famous where Lynagh normally performs at that same time is located about 1/4 of a block off Broadway on 2nd Avenue the venue is probably around 1/2 to 3/4 full. That is why I can usually get a table near the front or be close and work my way up fairly quickly. By comparison when I got to The Valentine about 7:45 it was about 3/4 full and the area around the bar where I usually sit was packed so I got stuck on the opposite side of the room. It only got more crowded from there by the time I left at 10:00. Wanted to see what the visuals were like from there and I still had to do my share of camera lifts due to foot traffic, but, at least I know for next time. Also they had a new drummer who had just joined them that day. To again show the level of talent since they had never played together before this is the drummer Chuck Miracle performing Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
