Backtracking a little for this one, but, it leads to another “It happened at a bar story”. Saturday I had what I thought was a perfect plan regarding filming. Due to our respective schedules haven’t been able to catch Heather Victorino performing for some time. She even messaged me on Instagram a while back to check in and see if I was okay (stop and think about that one for a minute that a performer reached out to me because they hadn’t seen me in a while) and for days she had mentioned and Redneck Riviera had it on their website she was performing from 2:00PM-6:00PM and based on history she plays on the second floor. Reckless Bound was playing from 4:00-8:00 on the rooftop. Lynagh was supposed to perform from 6:00-10:00 at Margaritaville and I assumed Leah would again be closing at The Valentine. Notice I said thought above. Here is what ended up happening. At the last minute Heather sends a message that instead she was playing at a venue south of downtown and with what I had going on I couldn’t make it. Made it to Redneck Riviera at 6:00. The picture you see of Reckless Bound is the bar area adjacent to the rooftop they move the artists to when it gets cold weather. There were so many people talking behind me trying to film a decent clip was going to be impossible, especially for a debut for them everywhere. Lynagh’s set got canceled due to a special event (didn’t find out until Sunday morning she picked up a set with another artist at Dierks Bentlay’s) and I assume Leah is not closing on Saturday/Sunday anymore so no filming. Now to the story. I have had people ask a particular question and I always say no and I clarify what relationship I have with the artist(s) and it is not a big deal. While watching Reckless Bound’s set, let’s just say a “rather inebriated” couple wandered over to that end of the building. At one point the I assume wife asked if I knew of a “cheap place” to go drink (always refer them to Taco Bell and I have to admit even after all these months it still sounds strange when I say it to people) and even got recruited into dancing with her for one song because the I assume husband wasn’t in a position to do so. For the record that is not the actual story, this is. They finished one song and while I am just sitting at the table minding my own business and just watching the show Emma and Sydney once again introduced themselves to the crowd. Don’t know where she got the idea or what made her decide to say it out loud to the entire bar, but when Sydney (the one with curly hair) said her name the woman I mentioned decided to say rather loudly, “AND THAT’S HER DAD!”. Knowing based on their website she is from Indiana I started to turn my head and look for people that might be her family, but no, the woman was pointing at me. I corrected her and said I was just a fan, and Sydney didn’t say anything, but figured it was something all of you would find funny.

“Animals” Behind the scenes video

Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.

Point/Counterpoint “Animals” Pre-Save Video

Since he is involved with two songs coming out the 29th, Sunshine created a hilarious “counterpoint” to Lyssa’s IG story trying to get people to pre-save their cover of Nickelback’s “Animals”.
