You might have to start calling me “Butter” because it looks like I am getting “On A Roll”. Have to thank everyone one more time for all the positive energy from everyone in @Locals when I started posting all these music clips all those months ago because that was what kept me going back week after week. Looks like my efforts are starting to pay off. I never really detailed it here but my overall plan was:
Step 1: Expose their talent to a bigger audience than the venue they perform in or who was already following them on social media - Done
Step 2: Have people in this community become fans - Done
Step 3: Have people here start following them on their social media - Done
Step 4: Receive confirmation from original artists they are seeing the talent these people have. If you all recall I received confirmation Kelsea Ballerini watched an Instagram story featuring Lynagh and Gavin Degraw liked an Instagram reel I posted of Bruce Kimmell (Leah Crose’s guitarist) but those were only visible as part of my notifications like all of you have here. With last week receiving a public comment from Thompson Square on the Facebook post of the Lucas and Lynagh duet, and, today I now have a public like on the post of “Ooh La La” from the Instagram account of The Faces. Picture 1 is a screenshot showing they liked both it and the story - Marking this one as done.
Step 5: An original artist in some way contact the performer as a result of seeing a clip. Unless Lucas is pulling my leg, and he has not provided any other details as of yet (I assume that will fall under a one-on-one conversation scenario at some point in the future) check out picture 2 - If it is true will mark it as done.
Now all I have to do is keep it going and see what else happens, thanks again.
