Going to go ahead and state I need a permanent “Wing Person” not only to make sure I don’t lose my table, but, also allows me to make comments that help tie into the overall story. Before this clip Sunsine had played Elvis’ “Suspicious Minds”. Noticed when I started filming I somehow got it into “Slo-Mo” mode and by the time I fixed it he was into the song. Bring it up because Lynagh did film a brief clip she posted as an Instagram story I will share later. It also is the reason everyone is laughing at the beginning of the clip because it revolved around her posting the clip on Instagram. Also before this song there were a couple of girls in maybe their mid 20s who wanted to hear a song from this particular original artist. Sunshine said, “Do you want a song that you can hear at any other place down here, or, something you’re not going to”. I said, “You could pull something from the Chris Gaines album”. He replied, “You know that sold like 3 million copies” then changed the subject. Tells me he didn’t know anything from that one and didn’t want to go the “Nashville Rehearsal” route. Was about this time Lucas made a major faux pas and said to the girls, “We could play something and y’all could back us up”. People other than the artists being on stage is a HUGE NO-NO. As if on cue Lynagh started shaking her head and somewhat loudly said towards Lucas, “No, don’t do that!” and the conversation moved on. Gave me the perfect opportunity to say to her, “As many times as I have been down here and I know I can’t, ain’t no way someone is on their first visit”. Figure it is now time to share Sunshine James performing “Papa Loved Mama”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
