Moondance - Better Version

For the record this is still footage filmed last Sunday, February 19th. Several reasons for that, primarily something really bad happened the previous day. Needed to make sure I had something to keep me occupied for at least the next several days, and obviously that succeeded, and at the time I wasn’t 100 percent sure when I would be able to make it back downtown. For the record I am fine, just having to deal with the aftermath of someone else’s decisions that also was the reason why I didn’t do any filming from before Christmas until fairly recently. Also allows me the opportunity to catch you up on why you are seeing what you are seeing. Remember this was the week after Lynagh was out of town and Lucas and Sunshine took over. Expected to see Lucas, but as you can see Jillian is sharing the stage with her. It kind of sucked for me because I had a good level of sarcasm speech ready regarding the fact I have been trying with all these artists, but Leah and Lynagh in particular, now going on eight months to have that moment where an original artist publicly liked what they did, and especially took the opportunity since I always tag them, so they could be messaged. Lucas gets it in like 1 1/2 weeks. Will touch on the substitution and other things as they come up. When I come in and have a request, I try to give her at least a couple of options and let her pick. Ever since Bennett Coleman took one of my clips from Google Drive, left in the commentary I leave in here and no place else, posted it on his Facebook page and got almost 12,000 views, trying to push her to do the same thing regarding her original material. Due to me now posting more often in the various Vandy Facebook groups when they win, am wanting a better version of “Another One Bites The Dust”. Also am wanting content I can post and tag the Sinatra. With that in mind I gave her the three options. She didn’t want to do the Queen song because she wants to work on it more. Again passed on the original song so this is what was left. Because the first time it was zoomed in too far because I was so close to the stage the balance was off. The second time the table next to me wouldn’t shut up so they overpowered her vocals so I finally have this version. I also can tell when she gets into a song because she will keep experimenting with it. This time she decided to include her trademark whistling. In my opinion since she knows where it is going she is trying to show her artistic versatility because she goes from very subtle to more intense with her singing over the course of it. Also if you zoom in given she had never performed it before the night at The 12/30 Club i can tell she has been practicing it and is really feeling it because I noticed as I was reviewing the footage just to make sure she was always on screen she performs almost the entire song with her eyes closed. With all that out of the way, this is Lynagh (again) performing Van Morrison’s “Moondance”.

“Animals” Behind the scenes video

Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.

Point/Counterpoint “Animals” Pre-Save Video

Since he is involved with two songs coming out the 29th, Sunshine created a hilarious “counterpoint” to Lyssa’s IG story trying to get people to pre-save their cover of Nickelback’s “Animals”.
