Couple more stories from this past Sunday. The first one falls under the “Had to happen eventually” category. Couple of guys visiting from DC were in the spot where this clip was filmed and they kept requesting they perform various songs by the band Florence & The Machine. They ran out of cash so they started sending the requests via Venmo. Apparently one of them was also named Phil because on four separate occasions either Lynagh or Jillian looked at me and asked either, “You okay if I play something else” or “Are you okay if I play it next week” because they weren’t used to two Phils in the room. Then as a way to explain it, Jillian gestured towards me then said from the stage, “Phil is what we call a “fan girl””. I knew I had to respond to that so I pulled the neck of my t-shirt away from me, looked down and my chest, then looked up and said, “Where are you getting “fan girl?”. She replied, “It’s just an expression” then channeled her inner teenager as she said, “Oh, I am just such a fan girl”. Don’t know how that was supposed to make me feel better, but anyway, this is Jillian Eliza performing Tyler Childers’ “All Your’n”.
