If you go WAY BACK I took pictures of this area (Loser’s rooftop) when I did a “Preliminary Recon” report before I filmed Leah Crose and Lynagh for the first time. Have never filmed anything because the only performance I had seen was when Lynagh helped out Krystal King on a Saturday before Christmas so she didn’t have to do a four hour set by herself.
Turns out Josh Hughett was playing at Cerveza Jack’s this past Saturday from 11-2 and of course this set was occurring at the same time. Split my time between sets, but because I didn’t get to Josh’s set until 1:00PM, was in a bad spot and the area was full between the bar and the stage. It was funny because Josh decided for five songs in a row to perform material originally performed by female artists. Recorded him covering a Taylor Swift song, but, didn’t like the results. Headed over and obviously got a better view.
Before this clip I recorded a cover of a Tyler Childers song, but because the people to my right were talking so much, that one went to the scrap pile as well. Since the same group was singing along on this one, finally got something I could work with. As an F.Y.I. Jillian and he were the opening act for him at a music festival a couple of years ago which is kind of cool. This is Sunshine James performing Travis Tritt’s “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
