Saturday night along “The Friendly Confines of Lower Broadway” showed me two things:
1. People were freely spending money based on this band getting three consecutive $100.00 tip songs in a row.
2. They were definitely of an “NSFW” mindset based on their requests since a group of women requested this same song later during the Jillian/Sunshine set at Redneck Riviera.
I first met this band over Labor Day weekend last year when Jillian helped him out during a 10:00PM-2:00AM set at Layla’s that Sunday when someone else took a picture of Sunshine and before the picture was taken he made sure I was in the shot that he posted on Instagram that I shared here later. This is also what led to his infamous comment two weeks later while on stage at Famous, “I don’t normally drink (flat out lie by the way) but I got drunk with Phil last week” comment. Anyway, again giving the disclaimer I do when something that someone might find inappropriate is posted, this is The Peyton Collier Band performing Trey Lewis’ “Dicked Down In Dallas”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.
