Again not me bragging about what is in the attached picture, but, it is what started the next thing that happened at Buscall. If you remember a few weeks ago I posted a clip of Lynagh and Lucas Alexander performing “Breathe (2AM)” by Anna Nalick. Do what I always do regarding tagging the original artist when I post it to Facebook and Instagram.
You all know the story how I thought they were a couple, Lynagh thought they were a couple, but, Lucas apparently didn’t. Thought nothing of it until a few days before last Wednesday, it showed up in my feed that Anna Nalick liked it and added the heart emoji as a comment.
When things like that happen, I take the screenshot and forward it to the performer. Included the comment referring to the fact that it had been requested here that she perform it as an individual artist (the “S word” relates to her song “Solo”) and it made sense to me so I hit send. Admittedly I think it was around 2:00AM when I sent it so that might have had something to do with it.
The other thing is with the Moxy Hotel following me and wanting more footage after I posted the series with Dakota, the only other artist I could possibly get footage of based on the schedule is Lucas since he is a semi-regular. Was going to ask her if she was okay with me doing so. Because she, Jillian and Sunshine performed in a row it was when Sunshine finished his set about an hour after hers I was done from a filming perspective and finally had a chance to talk.
We did our tradition of “clinking glasses”, her with an empty plastic cup and me with my beer can. I gave my typical “Congratulations to your new fan on Instagram”. She smiled and just as I was getting ready to start the process of asking the question, she just came out and said, “I’m okay if you film Lucas”. Couldn’t help but laugh and said how I had this big speech because we were friends and so on. She thought when I wrote “S word” I meant single so we then started discussing the relationship in general. Went down a path that let’s just say started getting into some personal details I was not expecting so it’s a good thing these people are starting to trust me at that level, I guess.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.
