The thing with her being able to channel her inner Blues Brothers and “Get the band back together” is she can decide to perform songs like this she can’t do as part of her solo acoustic set and this is one that was not requested, she just decided to run with it. This was also yet another 180 from the same set that brought you everything from Kitty Wells to Fall Out Boy then back to Johnny Cash and you won’t believe where we go next. Also wanted to share this one for those of you who had to endure my version from Sid Gold’s just so I had footage as a “proof of concept” that I could get portrait and landscape versions of the same video. With all of that out of the way, this is Lynagh showing off her singing (and dancing) skills to Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”.
