I brought this particular part of the story up before, but for any new people in the room, when she first came to town she worked as an intern at Brad Paisley’s publishing company. The original artist was signed to it at the time as well. It gave her the opportunity to listen to, as she calls it “work reels” of unreleased songs. This particular one sat around town for years before it was finally released. She mentions how she was in her car with a friend the first time it came on the radio and her friend commented about how did she know a brand new song so well and that was the reason.
She also says on occasion how it is her favorite by this artist. Since it gave me a chance to film a better version I took the opportunity to record Lynagh with guitar accompaniment by T.J. performing Chris Stapleton’s “You Should Probably Leave”.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
