Based on my previous postings, I mentioned how outside the norm the entire set got. I assume part of the reason is because she started getting some “liquid courage” since she started trying out things I have either never, or very seldom, seen.
The first time I heard this, since I still have the album and never thought I would ever hear it performed in this fashion, I was blown away. I assume she did the “whistle solo” she does when she doesn’t know a guitar solo the first time as well, honestly I don’t remember.
After seeing it the second time, being able to review the entire performance, in all honesty I felt the whistling didn’t really fit (don’t tell her I said that) so I was hoping Greg Chapman and her would perform together again because his degree is in jazz guitar. Unfortunately he became collateral damage when she fell in love with Lucas Alexander and gave him the Losers Sunday night gig the end of last year and we all know how that turned out.
