When this series started I mentioned there would be a separate connection, and here we are. With a couple of exceptions, until I covered the first writers round for Elliot, every artist I have profiled has been due to being on stage with a particular artist, or, a separate connection was made through that initial one like Donny Van Slee through Leah Crose, or, Dustin Kines through Jillian Eliza and Sunshine James.
Speaking of the last two, this is this how the new one happened. Started covering Sunshine when he would perform with his first band of the night, then, follow him to Redneck Riviera to catch him performing with Jillian’s band. The drummer in that band is a guy by the name of Sam Sherman. He is important because it just so happens he is the boyfriend/manager of this artist.
He has been wanting me to catch one of her sets, especially since he is the drummer in her band as well. Have not been able to because of either timing, or the instance when Bennett Coleman was in town ...
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
Sunshine posted a “Behind the scenes” video of Lyssa Coulter and him recording “Animals”. Figured I would go ahead and share it because you couldn’t hear any of his vocals with the footage Lyssa posted previously.
