So this song goes all the way back to July 3rd of last year and the first acoustic set I caught of her. She plays it nearly every set I have been to since because it is one of her favorites and while it doesn’t allow her to “Go all her” vocally, it allows her to do so regarding her guitar playing.
Was also after that set she was the first artist to agree to sit down and have a drink with me afterwards. Told her this particular song is what killed all my “Hair Metal” and as a result have never been fond of it. Therefore, I congratulated her on performing the first version I actually enjoyed listening to. Also gave me the opportunity to explain the Wayne situation. She was the first person to actually listen, understand and appreciate what I was trying to do. That might be the reason she has put up with all of this for so long as I have been on this journey.
