So here’s how my Saturday/Sunday has gone so far. Lynagh sent me a message around 11:00AM yesterday her 2:00-6:00 set at Winners got cancelled as well. At least it allowed me to go to the parking garage between that venue and the stadium to park for free, especially important given how long I was in the area.
For any NFL fans out there, the first picture is former punter Jim Arnold and yours truly. We have been Facebook friends for a while. Right before this picture was taken, he asked me to give him my cell number. He then called it so I had his. Not sure what he wanted it for yet, so I guess we will all get to find out together at some point.
The second picture is Ken and David on the practice field after we were told we had to leave the VIP tent you see in the background due to weather. Delayed the start of the game from 6:30 to 8:15. Meant we went to The Local early. Also we just ended up watching the game there due to the rain. Since I started getting hungry, ordered something during the 4th quarter. Will explain why that’s important shortly.
With the late start, the game didn’t end until after 11:00 and by the time I was FINALLY able to settle my tab, didn’t get home until after midnight. Dinner comes into play because apparently I got a bout of food poisoning because I woke up about 4:00 sick as all get out and have been up since. Was going to catch Josh at The Valentine, Reckless Bound at Redneck Riviera, then Lynagh’s set at Losers but as of right now, just don’t have the energy.
As is his fashion, Sunshine announced somewhat last minute the official music video of Alyssa Coulter and his cover of Nickelback’s “Animals” is today at 12:00PM Central time in the U.S. adjust accordingly for your area.
