Was going to post this yesterday but got busy. Mentioned in my last post how I got there early and helped Jillian set up the display you see in the first picture. To answer anyone’s question, no I do not know who the two women are posing with her. I looked up their Instagram page and it is a private account though, so, do with that information what you will.
If no one is performing, these venues will play “house music” just so there is some kind of activity. Will get to why that is significant in a moment. Since Lynagh was the MC/Hostess for the event along with being one of the artists performing as part of the first round, as she was setting up a song started. I recognized it, but, I couldn’t figure out why. As soon as the singing started, realized it was Leah Crose’s “So What”. If you recall I mentioned Lynagh co-wrote the song with her.
That in turn lead to another couple of “Didn’t think this would happen” moments. Since we both recognized it, she looked at me and said, “I didn’t know it was being released”. Remember they have their beef (still more on her side than Leah’s) so I replied, “Yeah it was released yesterday, but, she did give you a co-write credit”.
The other one occurred after the event. While we were talking, she decided to go to the song’s Spotify page and and share it as an Instagram story. Before she posted it, she wrote what you see in the second picture. Before she did she showed it to me for a review and to give my opinion. What you see includes Leah’s reply so maybe they can “bury the hatchet” and “kiss and make up” so to speak.
