This song was co-written by Allie and Henri Gates of Saluda Shoals is why they performed it together. Based on what they said before and after the performance it was a “wrote it and forgot about it” situation.
Bring that up because neither one of them had performed it publicly before this. I know I have mentioned the professionalism these artists regularly display but other than a brief run through the intro they performed her original song “You Can Have Him” and nailed it on the first try.
