Before I get to the new band, have another new venue for you. This is Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Lower Broadway. Named after Nudie Cohn who designed a lot of outfits for the country stars back in the day, along with artists like Elton John. He is probably most famous for designing Elvis’ gold lame suit and included a picture for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
He did pretty well for himself because he had a string of custom Cadillac convertibles, one of which is above the stage. Took the picture I did so you could see the two in relation to each other, and found one online of it from the second floor. For the record I don’t care how well it is secured, I would never feel comfortable performing with that above my head. Because of all the accouterments (especially the silver coins all through the interior) according to their website the car is insured for $400,000.

“Animals” Behind the scenes video
